In-Game Chat Rules

Offensive speech is anything determined to be unacceptable in polite, public conversation. Violations will result in immediate ban, or a single warning as determined by the admins. This rule is non-negotiable, and all decisions to expel a member of the community for any offensive speech are final.

If you are using the civilian side's type chat channels, use the appropriate one to make the text thread easy to read for all. The General Chat is labeled in blue, the Q&A Center in purple, Business Chat in gold, and finally the Air Traffic channel is red. Intentionally misusing this feature will result in a warning, and finally a ban from the server.

We do not expect every player to be as fluent in English as a native, but to understand enough to follow the rules and communicate with other gamers. English is mandatory for the global type chat channels, as well as for text and voice on the vehicle and direct communication channels. The one exception is the group chat function for clubs. You may speak any language you like, as long as it is permitted by the club's leader. Refusal to comply will result in warning, and if unheeded, finally a player ban.

Playing music over a microphone while chatting in server can be a distraction and annoyance to others attempting to enjoy their time. Doing so is prohibited while using the direct communication channel. When using the vehicle channel with other players, the driver or pilot may play music over their mic or allow passengers to do so when they wish. Repeated violations of this rule can lead to a ban from the server.
